Lunch N Learn: The Urogynecologist, Bladder Matters and the Pelvic Floor

According to the National Institutes of Health, about one-third of American women will experience a pelvic floor disorder during her lifetime. The most common symptoms include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic pain and/or sexual dysfunction. A urogynecologist is an OB/GYN who specializes in treating these health issues. Dr. Margie Kahn, Associate Professor of Clinical OB/GYN and Urology at the Tulane School of Medicine and NCJW member, will discuss common pelvic floor disorders, their symptoms and what you can do about them.
