Zoom Pre-Passover Art Project for Grandmothers “Miriam’s Tambourine of Hope”

NCJW, Greater New Orleans Section–with co-sponsors, the Bubbe Club and the Jewish Community Day School (JCDS)– is proud to present a pre Passover fun, creative art project for grandmothers and special friends, for members and prospective members. JCDS art teacher, Abby Wetsman, will teach us how to create “Miriam’s Tambourine of Hope.”Abby will explain how to adapt the project to different ages and skill levels. It is planned for March 24, from 10:00-11:00 am. 

The Bubbe Club was founded by Carol Newman and Cathy Bart to share resources with Jewish grandparents. Bubbe Club will partner with JCDS (Jewish Community Day School) & NCJW, GNO (National Council of Jewish Women, Greater New Orleans) for a Zoom Pre Passover art activity. JCDS’s wonderful art teacher, Abby Wetsman, will teach participants how to make “Miriam’s Tambourine of Hope.” She will explain how to adapt the project to different ages and skill levels. Art supplies will be complimentary and  provided for pickup at various locations for those who register.
